Friday, November 18 | GIANTS movie screening – Sip a drink, grab a bite, sit back and enjoy this journey through the curiously comic world of Pacific Northwest giant pumpkin growers. Join directors Mimi Gan and Jim Dever at this screening to benefit The Martinez Foundation.  Before the film, enjoy a screening of Seattle filmmaker John Murphy’s hilarious short, 24:05. Fresh from an award-winning film festival run, Giants is coming back to Seattle, and the coolest little theater in town.

Friday, November 18 | Hazelle Goodman: Don’t Get Me Started! – If anyone knows how to get funky, if not downright scandalous, it is Hazelle Goodman. With feature films and an HBO Comedy Special under her belt, Hazelle packs a comedic punch as she bobs and weaves through some serious, but always hilarious commentary about our times. TONIGHT, Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6 PIZZA FEST 2011! Three nights of pizza,booze, bands, and fun featuring TacocaT, Pudding Pops, Tit Pig, King Tuff, Shannon and the Clams, The Trashies, Personal and the Pizzas, Coconut Coolouts and more. On Day 3 there will be a pizza eating contest at 10pm outside on the Funhouse’s basketball court.

Starting Friday, August 5 YELLOW FACE by David Henry Hwang ReAct Theatre and the Pork Filled Players proudly present the Northwest premiere of “YELLOW FACE,” the Pulitzer-finalist and Obie-award winning comic “mockumentary” about mistaken racial identity by David Henry Hwang. Casting himself as the protagonist, Hwang recounts his (maybe true, maybe not) hard-hitting attempts to protest yellow face casting in Miss Saigon on Broadway–and his own accidental casting of a white man as Asian.
