Thursday, January 26Dina Martina: Moribund – Cult sensation DINA MARTINA returns to L.A. with DINA MARTINA: MORIBUND at Silver Lake’s Cavern Club Celebrity Theater from January 19 – 29. After attaining cult status on the west coast and touring nationally, Martina’s official New York debut in 2005 sold out in minutes. Her follow-up shows have left jaded audiences (including Whoopi Goldberg, John Waters, Matt Stone, John Cameron Mitchell, Margaret Cho, Bruce Vilanch, Joyce Dewitt, and Jeff Stryker — a list as strange has her shows) stunned and clamoring for more.

Saturday, January 27Judy Garland LIVE! in Concert at The French Market Showroom in West Hollywood – Critically Acclaimed Judy Garland Tribute Artist Peter Mac has a new monthly home in the West Hollywood’s French Quarter Restaurant’s inside the French Market Place.   This will be the first performance in their new Showroom built and designed especially for Mac. The evening is crafted through a sparkling selection of songs that Judy made famous in concert and on her TV series. However, the audience should expect the unexpected! West Hollywood: Peter Mac Brings Garland Back For the Holidays!

Good news West Hollywood! Judy is back, just for the holidays.

Female impersonator Peter Mac is bringing his spot-on impersonation of everyone’s favorite diva to the stage for four nights this week in “The Judy Garland Christmas Special Live.” This show opens tomorrow night, Wednesday, December 14 and is an homage to one of the greatest performers of our time.

In her brief 47 years, Judy Garland accomplished a lot. She was a celebrated singer, both on record and live, and was renowned for her contralto voice. She was an international celebrity for her roles in musical and dramatic performances on film and on stage, most notably as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She received multiple Grammy Awards, a Special Tony Award, was nominated for the Academy award for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress and was the youngest recipient, at 39, to recieve the Cecil B.
