Saturday, February 18 The Ric Rac Club The Fox, London Come one, come all for a very special edition of the Ric Rac Club this February. For they have something very exciting to celebrate… the release of Miss Naomi Thompson’s very first book, “Style Me Vintage Clothes!” This bible for all vintage fans will be published in early February, so they’re giving away not one, but FIVE copies of it over the course of the evening, some in their infamous Ric Rac Raffle, and some as spot prizes. Not only that, but Naomi is putting up a personal shopping trip around London’s secret vintage shops as a prize in the Raffle, too. There will be tunes from the 1920s to the 1960s, with the Mafia Girls on the decks, special guest DJs and their resident soul expert All Fringe No Knickers; all spread out over two floors of their lovely venue. Also there will be a delightfully entertaining ukelele turn performed by Miss Gemma King. Not only that but you’ll get a Free King’s Squeeze Cocktail on arrival, courtesy of the sponsor The King’s Ginger Liqueur. This is a social occasion for the vintage-minded and promises to be full of lovely and friendly people. There will be solo dancing demonstrations to break the ice too.
