Thursday, February 02 Comedy@ The Jam Jar The Jam Jar, Dunfermline  A top night of comedy headlined by Tom Stade as featured in Live at the Apollo (BBC1), One Night Stand (Dave) and Stand-Up For the Week (Ch4) also featuring JoJo Sutherland, Tommy Reid, Stephen Manson and David Mutch.

Friday February 03 The Jitterbug Vol IV Black Cherry Lounge, Nottingham  After arriving with a bang on the Nottingham party scene last year, The Jitterbug is back for its first event of 2012. They take great pride in bringing you the very best national and international acts from the world of Electro Swing and the recent Electro Swing Peoples Favourite 2011 awards are testament to that with 4 out of 11 categories being won by acts hosted at The Jitterbug. This year is to be no exception and they kick off the year by bringing you Sound Assembly. Making waves in the Electro Swing pond, this 3-piece live act from Lancaster, fronted by Sally Bloomer, has played at countless events across the UK and recently at the Electro Swing Club in Paris. The Jitterbug is also pleased to present to you Bass for the Baby, having performed at London Decompression among other festivals, he is sure to stir things up. The Jitterbug residents: Jamko, Maxophone and Das Motz have been busy over the festive period preparing an audio and visual show which they will be unveiling for the very first time. To meet your dancing needs they will be once again providing a FREE dance class at the beginning of the evening followed by classic Swing music for social dancing.

Saturday, February 04 Foul Portents Bletchley Leisure Centre, Milton Keynes  The first double header bout of the End Of The World Series! Hold on to your hats (and Limbs!) as the Vendetta Vixens battle against Rebellion Roller Derby. Is that sense of impending doom still not enough? Still hungry? Well there is more! Oxford Roller Derby and Milton Keynes Concrete Cows will be fighting for survival as the headlining bout.

Saturday, February 04 The Twilight Sad The Jam Jar, Dunfermline  With their Third Album “No One Can Ever Know” about to hit the shops, The Twilight Sad play a warm up gig in Dunfermline ahead of their UK Tour. Supported by People, Places, Maps and Astrid & Quinn.

Saturday, February 04 Somnambules The Nightingale Theatre, Brighton  Who are we? What are we made of? How many archetypes, characters, energies, moods, memories, experiences and ancestors are moving within us and leading the choices we make in our life? With physical and visual theatre, dance and site responsive elements, this work in progress is a journey in which everything is possible. Inspired by the 7 Deadly Sins.
