Friday, December 16 I The PHILLY SOUL Show featuring BUNNY SIGLER & INSTANT FUNK What do you get when you put a Grammy Award-winning singer, producer and songwriter of the ’70s “Philly Soul” era together with one of the most famous ’70s funk bands in America? You get the ultimate experience of Philly Soul, featuring Bunny Sigler, “Mr. Emotion” himself, backed up by none other than the famous Instant Funk band. Together these two great legendary artists will perform all the great hits of the Philly Soul era – songs everyone remembers from the O’Jays, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, The 3 Degrees, The Delfonics, and many other great artists of the time. Of course, Mr. Emotion will include his No. 1 songs as well as Instant Funk’s disco hits. If you’re coming to this show, be warned – there will be no sitting down. Be prepared to sing and dance the night away as the Philly Soul show takes you back in time.
Saturday, December 17 I SoHo Host Club’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Holiday Party & Concert! Join SoHo Host Club for a magical, spooky holiday evening full of friends, fiends, fantasy and fun! SoHo Host Club will lead the festivities on two levels at their home base, the SoHo Gallery, with screenings of the movie and anime eps and J-Rock vids that have festive or spooky themes to them (e.g., The Wallflower, Black Butler). Sweets and treats will be provided by a special guest chef, as well as their famous Harney & Sons teas, all served on elegant vintage china. As an extra-special gift to their beloved guests, SoHo Host Club will be performing their own style of music for you, from originals to covers to anime themes.

The New York City premiere of 18th century Christmas carols by Cuban baroque composer Esteban Salas (1725-1803). Starring Capilla Esteban Salas de Nueva York, an international ensemble of singers and musicians performing with authentic period instruments. This concert is supported, in part, by the
New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.

Monday, December 19 I The Clean Show with Applewhite and Nutmeg After serving four years in prison on a trumped-up obscenity charge, the comedy team of Herb Applewhite and Gary Nutmeg is back on the stage. But don’t expect to see [redacted – this is illegal to even mention]. No, the state of New York has ordered them to put together a clean comedy showcase as part of their work release. Join them and some of New York’s funniest performers as they work through Jennifer Hahn’s 777 Great Clean Jokes for a chance at parole.
