Friday, November 11 | Dragonslayer: An intimate vérité portrait of the life and times of Josh “Skreech” Sandoval, a 23-year-old skate legend from the stagnant suburbs of Fullerton, California, Dragonslayer takes the viewer through a golden SoCal haze of lost youth, broken homes and abandoned swimming pools, set to a soundtrack of bands from indie-rock labels Mexican Summer and Kemado Records. Directed by Tristan Patterson and executive produced by indie-maverick Christine Vachon, Dragonslayer is the Grand Jury Prize Winner for Best Documentary at SXSW 2011 and the second feature film to be released theatrically by Drag City Records.

Saturday, November 12 | A Tribute To Divine (feat. Divine rarities show + Pink Flamingos!): Follow up 45 minutes of never-before-seen footage of Divine at her peak: movie clips, rare home movies and photos, TV appearances and live performance footage with a Q&A with the director of upcoming biographical feature I Am Divine, then watch John Waters classic Pink Flamingos!

Saturday, November 12 | The East LA International and Youth Film Festival (ELAFF): The East Los Angeles Society of Film and Arts (TELA SOFA) presents its 3rd annual East LA International and Youth Film Festival. Screening short and feature films produced by East LA youth along with professional filmmakers and students from around the world. Includes award ceremony honoring teens with “El Angel Conscience Art Award.”

Saturday, November 12 AMAZON WOMEN ON THE MOON (1987) at midnight: This satirical B-movie-within-a-movie features an ensemble cast that includes Arsenio Hall, Rosanna Arquette, Steve Guttenberg, Phil Hartman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Griffen Dunne, Henry Silva, Sybil Danning, Carrie Fisher, Paul Bartel, Ralph Bellamy, Dick Miller, Jenny Agutter, Russ Meyer, Howard Hesseman, and many, many others!
