Friday, October 28 – Halloween on the Harbor 2011 It’s trick-or-treating for grown-ups! Halloween on the Harbor is a Boston waterfront Halloween celebration where patrons travel to Seaport District-area restaurants/bars courtesy of Boston Duck Tours, and receive unique discounts, specialized coupons and treats while enjoying Halloween-themed food & drinks. The preview hour will give you a chance to talk directly to food producers, learn the newest items in the marketplace, taste free food samples, and shop at special show discounts in an un-crowded environment, before the usual large numbers arrive with free admission! Whether you are a long-time vegetarian or vegan, or someone simply wanting to add more healthy and delicious foods to your meal repertoire, or if you are just curious what it’s all about, you are welcome here! You also can learn of ways to benefit the environment, help animals, and enhance your health and well being. There are activities for kids, too!
Wednesday, November 2 – THE LYDIA WARREN BAND plus THE LEVY-STUBBS-RIVELLI TRIO Lydia Warren tours internationally from Brooklyn to Beirut, whipping audiences into a frenzy at each stop. A versatile singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer, the Boston-based performer tours and records as a solo act and with her band. The Lydia Warren Band has been nominated for a Boston Music Award, appeared on NBC’s Today Show and has released five albums. The Levy-Stubbs-Rivelli Trio plays a mix of Groove, Memphis Soul Funk and Acid Blues and features three top Boston musicians!
