TONIGHT!! – WordBall | UnmaskedStories connect us. WordBall is the next generation of storytelling to come to Chicago. It is your story the way you want to tell it. Come to tell a story or just sit back and enjoy the entertainment. Games are a go.

Thursday, October 27 to Sunday, November 13 – Sizzle: A Global Warming Comedy New Suit Theatre Company is proud to present its third show “Sizzle: A Global Warming Comedy” – an adaptation of the documentary film of the same name. It follows Dr. Randy Olson, a scientist turned filmmaker, who is convinced that he can make a movie that will end the global warming debate just by interviewing scientists and placing their ideas side by side. When things don’t go as planned, it’s up to his sensible production assistant, his crazy producer, and his skeptical cameraman to help him maintain his faith in humanity. “Sizzle” is a story that has its roots in the credibility crisis currently enveloping science in America. It is about the hilarious (and not-so-hilarious) ways we behave when unable to bring others to our point of view. It is about communication and miscommunication. Ultimately, it is about moving forward together.

Friday, October 28 – Globalfest: Latin America GlobalFest will celebrate Chicago’s recent designation as a Fair Trade City and will feature Chicago’s Fair Trade connections to Latin America. Ticket includes appetizers, fair trade wine and cocktails. Enjoy bidding on great items of our silent auction and short program that will highlight Latin American fair trade producers and recognize Bill Lamme, as this year’s Changemaker. Guests will have the opportunity to view the Museum’s “Day of the Dead” exhibit from 5:30-7:30pm.

Saturday, October 29 to Monday, November 7 – Noel Coward in Two Keys Noel Coward at his very best. He takes his usual incisive examination of seemingly stable marriages to new heights. This pair of one-acts from 1966 focuses on the older crowd. In “Come Into the Garden, Maude” Anna Mary Conklin is determined to use her husband Verner’s American millions to conquer European High Society. The arrival of a Roman lady at their Swiss hotel derails the Conklin social assault. In “A Song at Twilight,” Sir Hugo Latymer, a famous novelist, is seriously ill. His dedication to preserving his image as a brilliant writer and selfless humanitarian is suddenly in danger when a lady from his past arrives, with incriminating letters and a threat of blackmail.

Sunday, October 30 – Vincentennial: A Halloween Tribute To Vincent Price (with Victoria Price) Come celebrate VINCENT PRICE’s 100th Birthday with this sepcial Halloween Celebration featuring guest VICTORIA PRICE (Vincent Price’s Daughter) and a fantastic Vincent Price double feature. Before the show, there will be a meet and greet with Victoria Price followed by a double feature of The House on Haunted Hill and The Last Man On Earth. There will be a Q&A with Victoria Price between the two films and a presentation on Vincent’s life. Come dressed as your favorite Vincent Price character and win prizes! Plus: Vendor Tables, Prizes, Surprises, Short Films, Vintage Horror Trailers, a live charity auction for Vital Bridges and more! The ultimate Halloween celebration that’s fun for ALL AGES!
