Friday, October 28 Macbeth “Double Double” Feature: The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles screens two versions of Shakespeare’s masterpiece MACBETH. The Screening begins with MACBETH at 7pm and continues with THRONE OF BLOOD at 9:30pm.

Friday, October 28 and All Weekend Long | Angel! The Experience Presents…Lorne! Live!: Angel and the gang are back at it again! Angel the Experience presents…Lorne! Live! Join us for a night of campy fun as Lorne the green, singing, empathy demon from the dimension Karatoff sings the classics, makes you laugh and reads your aura!

Saturday, October 29 | Frogs (1972) at midnight: New Beverly Midnights presents
midnight shows selected by Quentin Tarantino! This week is 1972’s eco-horror film FROGS.

Sunday, October 30 | Distributing the Avant-Garde: The Creative Film Society: Alternative Projections: Experimental Film in Los Angeles, 1945-1980 is part of Pacific Standard Time: Art in L.A. 1945-1980. This unprecedented collaboration, initiated by the Getty, brings together more than sixty cultural institutions from across Southern California for six months beginning October 2011 to tell the story of the birth of the L.A. art scene. This is screening five of 24.
