OPENS TONIGHT! | little world: A woman creates and retreats to a little world of her own a safe place where she can hide from all that is cruel. But this new world conjures up characters who emerge playfully, yet ultimately confront and challenge her. Inspired by and conceived through the process of grief, little world employs a reverse theatre-making method where design and puppets were created first followed by script and character development.

Friday, October 7 | GOREJESS GALS BURLESQUE present FAVORITES: Gorejess Gals Burlesque will be performing their favorite burlesque routines at Amore Infused! Plus, raffle prizes and drink specials. Dinner and show packages are available.

Friday, October 7 | GeekGirlCONcert: GeekGirlCon! It’s here! It’s finally here! Kick off your GeekGirlCon weekend at the GeekGirlCONcert starring nerd-chanteuse Marian Call. Also on the bill are the Seattle ukulele prodigy Molly Lewis and nerd-folk singers from Portland, The Doubleclicks. Plus special performances by a few GeekGirlCon ladies.

Saturday, October 8 Stripped Screw Burlesque: Keep it Up!: It’s Stripped Screw Burlesque’s 2nd birthday, and they want to show off their birthday suits! Join the sassy, scintillating ladies of Stripped Screw for “Keep It Up!” birthday party, plus a farewell to Roxie Moxie, at Columbia City Theater.

Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9 | Elysian Brewing’s 7th Annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival: This beer festival from local brewing champions Elysian will feature over forty pumpkin beers from breweries across the country, including more than ten from Elysian’s pumpkin-mad brewers. The highlight of the festival is always the tapping of the Great Pumpkin itself, an enormous 200-pound (or so) pumpkin which has been scorched on the inside and filled with still-fermenting beer, sealed with wax and allowed to condition until tapping at four o’ clock on each day of the festival.

Wednesday, October 12 I Side Effects: Come out for the inaugural show of this brand-new comedy night! Features Abbey Drake, Rick Taylor, Jennifer Burdette and Sarah Skilling, with special appearances by Elicia Sanchez and Phil Fox.
