Tuesday, August 8 Psychedelic Sexualis (1966) & Blood Demon (1967) (double feature) The Grindhouse Film Festival presents two films from the sick, sick Sixties! “PSYCHEDELIC SEXUALIS” starring Ronald Warren, Sandra Lynn, Barbara Hines and Lee Gladden and “BLOOD DEMON” (aka “THE TORTURE CHAMBER OF DR. SADISM”) starring Lex Barker, Karin Dor and Christopher Lee.

Starts Thursday, August 11 TRIGGER by Kyle Jarrow In this dark comedy from Obie-Award winning playwright Kyle Jarrow, Ryan’s wife gets in a crippling car accident while he’s in bed with another woman, and he begins to wonder: do his actions have the power to cause disaster? Starring Michael Trucco (Fairly Legal, Battlestar Galactica) and Lisa Brenner (The Patriot).

Friday, August 12 The Jerk/Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Drink-Along & Beer Pong Admission includes one drink on the house. “The Jerk” will screen at 8pm and “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” will screen at 10pm. There will be drinks and rooftop beer pong until 2am.

Sunday, August 14 I Was Raised Mexican (Benefit Performance! One Day Only!) “I was Raised Mexican” is a one-woman show written and performed by Sayda Trujillo that investigates the experience of acquired identity. Sayda will be performing one-time only as a benefit for the documentary about Boyle Heights, East LA Interchange.
