Friday, July 22 Lisa Landry Lisa Landry came up through the famed New York City comedy circuit to become an audience favorite at clubs, colleges and theaters across the country. She has appeared on CBS’s “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” & “The Bonnie Hunt Show” on NBC. She starred in her own half hour Special, “Comedy Central Presents Lisa Landry.” And a nationwide vote catapulted her special to third place out of 100 top comedians in Comedy Central’s annual “Standup Showdown.” She’s the first woman to ever place in the top three. Punchline Magazine describes Landry best: “She’s an incredibly skilled comedian, a controlling presence onstage and a master of pacing and delivery.” Trust us, you don’t want to miss seeing Lisa Landry!
Saturday, July 23 MIKE VIOLA with special guests ORANJULY and THE SHELLYE VALAUSKAS EXPERIENCE Mike Viola is best known as singer, songwriter and musical architect of the Candy Butchers, a highly regarded pop-rock band from New York that recorded three critically-acclaimed albums for Sony. “Walk Hard”, the film starring John C. Reilly, featured nearly a dozen songs written by Viola.The film proved to be the perfect playground for Viola’s subversive, witty lyrics and catchy-pop expertise. Tuesday, July 26 ARIEL RUBIN EP Release show! with SAMANTHA FARRELL and CILLA BONNIE Ariel Rubin is a Canadian born singer/songwriter who recently moved to Boston and began winning the hearts of fans and fellow musicians. After pairing up with producer Mike Davidson of Zippah Studios Ariel recorded an EP that features Boston greats Duke Levine, Steve Sculley and Adam Frederick from the Jason Spooner Trio. With a background as a jazz vocalist and a firm upbringing in folk and country traditions Ariel’s music blends all three influences with added pop and rock elements that make her shows great listening for all.
Tuesday, July 26 The Grill From Ipanema A celebration of Brazilian food, drink and music. The night will include a Bar-B-Q on an outdoor patio, Brazilian beers, mixed drinks and live Samba music by Samba no Pé. Bella Luna Restaurants’ executive chef, Sam Putnam will be manning the grill. Cooking up everything from Brazilian sausages, to chicken brochettes, to a black bean stew with vegetables and rice, there’s are delicious options for everybody.
