Friday, May 27 to Sunday, May 29 Melissa Ferrick Since the early 1990s, Melissa Ferrick, an accomplished singer-songwriter from New England has compiled a string of sonically strong, lyrically rich studio albums. Her ninth studio effort “Goodbye Youth” retains the pure Ferrick trademark: An endearing, emotionally honest first-person lyrical approach driven by her dynamic acoustic sound.

Friday, May 27 to Sunday, May 29 All the King’s Men! Three parts Tracey Ullman, a punch of Carol Burnett, a pint of Jim Carrey and a whole lotta woman AND man, this electrifying and outrageous show will have you laughing long, hard and loud.

Saturday, May 28 For the Sake of the Song: A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen “For the Sake of the Song” brings together local musicians to perform their own material and pay tribute to the songwriters who have influenced them. In the May edition, local songwriters Kieran Ridge, Patrick Coman, and more, perform Bruce Springsteen classics as well as discuss his influence on their own material

Thursday, June 2 “Green Fire” Boston Film Premier “Green Fire” makes its Boston premiere at the Stuart Street Playhouse downtown. This will be a truly special event with a program that features a panel of speakers and members of the film team. “Green Fire” explores the life and legacy of famed conservationist Aldo Leopold, and the many ways his land ethic idea is living on in the work of people and organizations all over the country today.
