We’d like to take a moment to introduce you to the Brown Paper Tickets Event Promotions department. As most of you know, the new Brown Paper Tickets website launched in January and as part of the launch the Event Promotions department was created.
The Event Promotions department consists of living, breathing people that are here to act as a resource for advice on what you can do to best promote your events. Think of us as someone to help you brainstorm and bounce ideas off of. We’ve seen a lot of events, and have seen some really great ways to get the word out about your event. This can happen through social media, posters, email marketing, media outreach, and much, much more. We’re here to help you figure out what works best for you.
You have the power! The Event Promotions department is here to help you do-it-yourself. Never written a media release? We’ll show you how. Don’t have a Twitter account? We’ll walk you through it. Never put up posters for events? We’ll help you figure out how. Think of us as good advice givers–easier than Google-ing and more knowledgeable than your cousin’s ex-college roommate’s sister.
